Pilar’s piano may feature talent from the stage next door or even distinguished entertainment for your enjoyment. Pilar, (pe-lar’) originated in Spanish class at Lakeview High School, which, according to Miss Vernon, sounded prettier than “Becky” when practicing dialogue. I embrace the name as a playful nod to my youthful alter ego.
